01 Introduction

iPasscoder (“the App”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your data is handled when you use the App.

02 Data Collection

• All passcodes and sensitive information you store in the App (your vault) are saved locally on your device only.
• The App does not collect, transmit, or share your vault contents with us or with third parties, including advertising partners. Encrypted backups that you choose to export are covered in section 03.
• The free version of the App shows ads from Google AdMob, which may collect certain device and advertising data. This is described in section 04. The Premium version is ad-free.

03 Data Security

• Stored passcodes are encrypted using Apple’s CryptoKit (AES-GCM) to ensure confidentiality.
• Exported backups are encrypted before leaving your device.
• We do not have access to your encryption keys, passcodes, or backup files.

04 Third-Party Advertising

• To support the free version of the App, we use Google AdMob to serve advertisements.
• When ads are shown, AdMob may collect your IP address, device data (such as device identifiers), and information about the ads you see and interact with, for advertising purposes.
• AdMob may also collect your device’s pseudonymous Advertising Identifier (IDFA) to serve personalized ads, but only if you give permission. On iOS 14.5 and later, the App asks for your explicit permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt before allowing tracking. You can change this choice at any time in iOS Settings under Privacy & Security > Tracking.
• AdMob is operated by Google. Google’s handling of this data is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services (opens in new tab).
• Premium Subscribers: If you purchase a Premium subscription, the App is completely ad-free. AdMob is not loaded and no tracking identifiers are collected.

05 Purchases & Subscriptions

• Premium features are purchased through Apple’s App Store in-app purchase system.
• We do not process or store payment information.

06 User Control

• You can edit or delete saved passcodes at any time with a paid subscription.
• Deleting the App will remove all stored data from your device.

07 Children’s Privacy

iPasscoder is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

08 Changes to Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. Changes will be reflected in the App or on our website.
